Papers of Ullin Whitney Leavell, 1903-1958.

The collection contains five scrapbooks of correspondence, clippings, photographs and memorabilia concerning Leavell's career; three photograph albums containing pictures of the Leavell family, China, the Holy Land and Europe; a package of photographs of the Leavell family in China in 1921, and Chinese scenes and people, and a humorous English-Chinese school exercise book. The collection also contains correspondence, 1955-1956, concerning the Golden Rule series of elementary readers. In addition there are some miscellaneous family letters and photographs; and four copies of Time Magazine of September 30, 1957.
